I’ve Fallen in FiberLove

Hi guys! Hope your Halloween weekend was spectacular. We had a record-breaking amount of trick-or-treaters: FIVE. This beat last year’s grand total of THREE. Ouch. We’ll be eating candy for awhile…

We also had the chance to go to the University of Miami vs. UNC football game! It was a beautiful day with some fun tailgating. I rocked out with my sparkling cider, wishing it was the champagne that all the other ladies were sipping… fiberlove, the fit chronicles, miami blogs, best fitness blogs, alison hay, miami fitness

Anyway, I have a yummy product I wanted to show you guys today. I am constantly being asked by my clients what a good “bar” is to keep in their purse/bag, i.e. protein bar, snack bar, etc. I have a new one that I recommend!

Also, now that y’all know I’m pregnant, I have to admit that fiber has become way more important to me now. Pregnant women often have to deal with constipation, so I’ve been trying to be proactive and amp up my fiber intake. It’s totally helped so far! TMI TMI TMI…but anyway, those dealing with bathroom issues should definitely toss more fiber into the everyday diet. fiberlove, the fit chronicles, miami blogs, best fitness blogs, alison hay, miami fitness

Soooo, I was sent a box filled with FiberLove, a kosher, non-GMO 12-gram fiber bar (soluble and insoluble fiber) with the consistency of a chewy cookie. Almost all of the flavors are VEGAN, too! There are a ton of flavors:

  • Apple Cobbler
  • Cinnamon Raisin
  • Coconut Macaroon
  • Carrot Cake
  • Banana Walnut
  • Blondie Bar (not vegan–has milk powder)
  • Chocolate Brownie (MY ABSOLUTE FAVORITE!)
  • Blueberry Cobbler
  • Orange Cranberry
  • Peanut Chocolate Chip

I am not one to promote something I don’t actually enjoy, so trust me when I say these bars are delicious. And best part, in my opinion, is that they’re only 130-160 calories with no added sugar. I hate grabbing a quick bar as a snack while I head out the door to then realize it’s 250 calories and over 20 grams of sugar.

My only complaint is that the bar doesn’t pack a ton of protein, but not every bar can provide everything! I use these in my diet to control hunger but also keep my system moving, if you know what I mean.

So next time you’re near a Whole Foods, Fairway, Publix, Vitamin Shoppe, or Bed, Bath & Beyond, keep an eye out for FiberLove. Give the Chocolate Brownie flavor a try, you won’t regret it! I could eat them for dessert all day, every day.

Disclosure: While I was sent complimentary FiberLove bars, I was not compensated for this post. All opinions are my own!
