Where I’ve Been
I’m still here! Took a little break from blogging last week to prep for some traveling, weddings, etc.
My husband and I were up outside of Boston at a wedding for one of my college friends. It was the ultimate Father of the Bride dream come true–a wedding in her parents’ backyard!
Here’s a little peek at the (rainy) weekend’s festivities:
They transformed the yard with a huge tent, a great band, lots of candles, and the most intricate details I’ve seen at a wedding.
Pashminas and sandals for the ladies, vintage touches everywhere, handwritten signs, garlands of greenery…
…homemade caramels, wine from a vineyard in the bride’s hometown, hand-collected antique china, hotel welcome bags sewn by the bride (with custom fabrics!)–they truly thought of it all.
My college roommate/sorority sister and I just lounging in the vintage chairs:
The best part? The bride and groom’s style was reflected in everything. You could tell it was a labor of love and it made everything that much more exciting.
So now I start the week with a full belly from all the delicious food and a smile after a fun few days!
I’m up visiting family in between the two weddings we have so I’m trying out a new Pure Barre location tomorrow! Stay tuned for details…
