My Version of FASHION WEEK: Reebok Skyscape + SIX:02!

Ok so it may be fashion week up in NYC, but it was a fashionable week for me down in Miami. Not exactly the haute couture like the runway shows, but fitness fashion.
Earlier this week I hopped over to SIX:02 to visit my #SIX02FitCrew homies in the Aventura Mall. I always like going there because I get to talk to like-minded people and check out new fitness gear–basically my version of “work clothes”.
My main reason for heading to SIX:02? To check out the Reebok Skyscape sneakers. Yup, I kept calling them the Skyscraper sneakers–Demi Lovato would be so proud.
Anyway, you probably know these shoes from the cute-yet-racy commercial by the one and only Miranda Kerr, Victoria’s Secret angel and runway supermodel. I remember the first time I saw the commercial I was naturally in awe of how pretty she is and how fabulous her apartment was that she lived in. Could that be New York? How much could that rent be?! My mind really goes into a tailspin when I see fantasy New York City real estate.
So the concept of the commercial is to show how the shoes are…
So lightweight and comfortable, you’ll forget you have them on.
What’s interesting is that the shoe was crafted borrowing the materials and soft molding process used to make lingerie. I personally like that it’s low-cut and flexible. I got the Skyscape Runaround sneaker… which happens to be washable!
My lovely fellow Pure Barre teacher took some photos of me kickin’ around in my new shoes. She got really into it, as you can clearly see–these photos are way more artistic than I can ever come up with!
My favorite features of the Skyscape are how light and casual they are. I was talking to an employee at SIX:02 and she mentioned how she thinks of them as a great vacation shoe… and I definitely agree! They’re easy to pack, go with any outfit, and actually support your feet as you walk around your exotic destination.
I’m currently using them as my dog-walking shoe, pre-natal training shoe, to and from the barre shoe, and basic running errands shoe. I won’t be running a 10K in these (I save my real running sneaks for those occasions), but they’re fabulous for anything you do during the day.
Thanks to Reebok and SIX:02 for providing me the opportunity to try out these cute kicks!
