fitness gear review: PUMA Fitness

The following post is sponsored by FitFluential LLC on behalf of PUMA.

Hey everyone! Hope you all had a Happy Mother’s Day. I had a relaxing weekend with some precious beach time and backyard dinners. It was prep for the bachelorette weekend I have coming up on Friday!

Anyway, I got hooked up with some PUMA gear to review all thanks to FitFluential, the group that I am an ambassador for. From my time working at Lululemon and my years in the fitness world, I’ve become kind of a fitness gear snob. I’m a stickler for fit and fashion since my whole career is about being active. I have to look somewhat cute while I’m working, right?!

I knew I had to jump at the opportunity to try out PUMA’s fitness gear. I always placed PUMA in the track-suit-and-tennis-clothes category, don’t ask me why (maybe it has to do with my dad’s super-cool black and white PUMA jumpsuit he rocked back in the day…). I hadn’t really considered going to PUMA for workout clothes, so it was nice to check out their items.

And you know what? They were fierce! Here’s my whole getup:

I’m not very busty so I don’t personally value support, but I appreciated it. The tank had an inner bra with adjustable hooks on either side so you can customize your fit. I’ve seen this in tanks before, never utilized it, but I can see where larger-chested people would enjoy the feature.

Side note: the top kind of did this odd lumpy seam thing in the center of the chest, but I think it was because I didn’t fill out the top well enough…

My favorite parts about the tank were the lines and the fabric. My test of good fitness gear is that the lines of the item really work for a woman’s body, and this top did the trick. The strip down the back was breathable, which is something I value most in a workout top. The Miami climate is disgustingly stifling, so anything that’ll help my skin breathe is a superstar in my book.

The fabric was high-quality with stretch that felt like it wouldn’t start sagging after a few hours of wearing it. I LOVE the color scheme, it reminds me of being at the beach around sunset, the best part of a beach day.

Loving this top? You can snatch it up here…mine seemed a bit snug, so you might want to order the size up!

These crops are soooo great. They’re really breathable and they wick sweat quickly thanks to the “Drycell” LYCRA SPORT fabric. I tested them out on a cardio day and now they’ll be one of my go-to’s for exercising.

The waistband isn’t constricting and doesn’t dig into your waist (a pet peeve of mine). Score!

My absolute favorite features were again, the lines and the fabric. The cut was really flattering and I actually got a ton of compliments on them the day I wore them to work!

You can buy them here…sizing for these ones are true-to-size, I ordered my normal sizing.

I was excited about these because they’re super lightweight and flexible with a breathable, open mesh.

I love wearing thin sneakers when I’m with my clients, so I immediately starting wearing these to work. I personally wouldn’t go for a run in these, as they don’t have really strong support, but like I said, I love walking in them. I’d also wear them for strength training, spinning (I’m not committed enough to wear real spin shoes!), and anything of moderate intensity.

And in standard fashion, I had to get a pic with my furry friend…I tried to get an action shot of us “going for a walk”, but little man was interested in a squirrel nearby. You win some, you lose some.
