what i’m thankful for

In the spirit of Thanksgiving, I want to acknowledge all the things I am thankful for. I am sooo lucky to have the life that I live, and I admit that sometimes I take it for granted. Here’s to being grateful and appreciating all that we have!

I am thankful for…

All of YOU! I’ve found a stellar community of people from this wee little blog and I can’t wait to meet more and read more. You guys rock.

my husband and me celebrating the Lehigh vs. Lafayette football game last weekend!

My loving and extremely supportive husband and family. I put them through a lot of highs and lows and they’re always there for me, cheering me along. I wouldn’t be where I am today without them!

The incredible opportunities that have been offered to me. From Belly-n-Kicks to bootcamp to my newest venture (to be announced soon!), I feel so grateful to be able to do the things I do every day. Can’t wait for more!

I’m thankful for the opportunity to participate in U&me Magazine’s Mommy Makeover!

My health. To be able to wake up with no illnesses, conditions, or medications is a blessing and I’ll keep at it with exercise and a clean diet to avoid any future health issues!

My friends, near and far, who listen to me, help me out when I’m in need, and keep me laughing.

The safe return of my brother from Kuwait. After many months of deployment, it was a huge sigh of relief to have him home!

My sister and brother-in-law’s true gift, their new baby son. My sister is an unbelievably brave woman who deserves all the happiness in the world. A particular quote she had hanging in her kitchen always struck me:

You never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have.
– Cayla Mills

…and girlfriend is strong!

Finally, I am thankful for waking up each day with a sense of purpose. Over a year ago I was confused, frustrated, lost, vulnerable, self-conscious…you name it, I felt it. I had NO idea what I was doing, why I was in this career position, what exactly would get me out of this funk, and after a long and winding road, I found it. I did it. And I’m thankful for it. 🙂

Have a safe and happy Thanksgiving…and drive carefully, it’s a dangerous holiday for the roads!

What are you all thankful for?
