what’s your favorite workout music?
Hey guys! Welcome to the new, still under construction, The Fit Chronicles! I spent soooo many hours yesterday at my dining room table converting the blog over to a self-hosted model. I have basically no tech experience (minus typing class in middle school–my words per minute smoked everyone else’s) so this was a huge, ominous hurdle for me to leap over. I wanted to avoid the pricey fee of paying someone to do this for me, so I painstakingly went step by step to get myself there…but I’m not quite there yet. I still have a ways to go in terms of format and functionality, but it’s doable for now, right?! Please bear with me while I try out new things, get my feet wet in code (is that even the right way to use “coding”?), and work on some fun plug-ins.
**If you are on WordPress, I’m pretty sure I won’t show up in your reader anymore. Please follow me on Facebook, Twitter, Bloglovin’, anything!**
Anyway, big news over here–I finally got some loud, fancy speakers for my bootcamp classes. This is going to be revolutionary! I used to have some small speakers that worked fine for classes of about five or six people, but those crashed incredibly fast, leaving me sans music for a couple of, gasp, months! Now that my classes are up to about 20 or more participants, I needed some inspiring tunes FAST.
So that’s where you come in: what is currently your favorite song, artist, or genre to listen to while working out? I have a playlist already, but it needs some freshening up. Teaching six classes a week can make a playlist SO boring and repetitive. Not to mention the regular attendees having to listen to the same songs over and over! I need a couple of lists in rotation.
Please let me know your favorites and I’ll be sure to include them in my classes. Also, any feedback on the new website would be WELL appreciated! If you don’t want to go public with your opinions, shoot me an email at firstname.lastname@example.org. I’d love to hear your responses!
